On Foot
SeaCity Museum is situated on Havelock Road, on the former location of the magistrate’s court and Southampton Central Police Station.  Approaching from Above Bar Street, proceed north until you reach Guildhall Square, cross the square and walk past Southampton Guildhall, then turn left onto Commercial Road and you will see the Art Gallery and Library entrance on your left.  Continue past the Art Gallery and then turn left onto Havelock Roadwhere the museum entrance can be found.

By Road
Directions from the M3: Join the M3, head West bound, towards Southampton and Basingstoke, follow the signs for Southampton until you reach exit, 14, and take the A33 into Southampton City Centre, proceed along the A33.  When you reach the traffic lights at Stag Gates, go straight across and keep in the right hand lane. Go past the park, on your right, proceed to Charlotte Place roundabout, look out for the Jury’s Inn in front of you.  At the roundabout take the 4th exit, signed posted The West, and train station. 

You will then be in Cumberland Place, keep in the left hand lane and on your left you will see a park, with the Civic Centre clock tower just beyond the park.  Go through 3 sets of traffic lights, the SeaCity Museum is on your left, on Havelock Road.  Park your car in the nearest multi-storey; West Park, Grosvenor Square or Marlands. ake exit 5, signposted Southampton Airport, keep left, at the roundabout under the motorway take the 1st exit, marked City Centre. Stay in the left-hand lane and proceed through the 1st set of traffic lights. At the next set of lights, filter to your left into Thomas Lewis Way, keep heading towards the City Centre.Go straight on, through 5 sets of lights but keep in the left-hand lane, until you see a large metal sculpture on your right, keep left and follow the road down through another set of traffic lights. After the last set of lights you will join up with the A33; you will then be at Charlotte Place roundabout, look out for the Jury’s Inn in front of you. The museum is situated on the main bus routes with services provided by all operators which stop on Havelock Road and Commercial Road.

Bicycle racks are located outside the museum on Havelock Road. Cyclists are requested to dismount before entering the museum forecourt.

The Hythe and Isle of Wight Ferry connections are located within approximately a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk from SeaCity Museum.
