Special Exhibition Area – Titanic the Legend

The sinking of the Titanic has always fascinated people all over the world. In its centenary year, this special exhibition explores why, out of all of the historical sea disasters, the story of the Titanic has taken on the status of a legend. The Titanic story is explored from varied perspectives to consider how and why the Legend endures, the effect it has had on ship design, safety and, technological research as well as the ‘Titanic Industry’ which has developed around the legend.
The new, purpose-built exhibition area is a modern space offering flexibility for a variety of events for approximately 150 guests. Tours may be arranged for your guests.

To add an extra special element to your event the whole museum can be hired, outside of opening hours, for your exclusive use. The magnificent first floor galleries and special exhibition area promise to dazzle your guests, and can play host to exclusive evening events for approximately 500 guests. Please enquire directly.
